No. Swipe-to-archive means working the same way as it works in every single other iOS app that implements that functionality: left-to-right. edit - To clarify: widely-adopted shortcuts are only effective when they work the same everywhere.

I dunno about that - I really wanted to like Sparrow for iOS (aside from a couple bugs dealing with insane volumes of email, I love it on the desktop) but it never felt quite right to me. I've actually just now reinstalled it to check what

My experience is in the context of payments - when charging someone's payment card, check whether it's one we've issued and just run it as an internal balance transfer rather than run it through Visa (read: free). When doing the whole "buil

It's not like you have to pick between the two even with the default Mail.app - you can browse one inbox at a time or select "all inboxes". I happen to like unified view 90% of the time, but for that other 10% it's literally two taps to vie

ACH chargebacks are even worse than CC chargebacks, from the perspective of being able to fight them. As soon as a payment touches any of the existing networks, it's at risk. The only way to fix it completely (or at least significantly impr

Yes, the thundering herd problem. While the site may be briefly less responsive, if the traffic is all to a single piece of content as long as one of them goes through you'll end up with the content in cache and then the load immediately dr
