Yeah I'm not in the anti-vaxxers thing, I was thinking more about the COVID vaccine we are given basically every year. After... I think 6 iterations (or 7?!) me and my family decided to go for the flu shot only, mainly because the flu

Oh god, I am glad you can still write here. That sounds terrifying

Wait, so what are we supposed to do. If you over vaccinate is bad, if you under vaccinate is bad, but if you vaccinate a little bit you can end up on the wrong strain. Great! /s

Everything I hear is about bacterias though. I wish we found more about viruses.

Wouldn't selling pills online effectively remove the dilemma? The doctors can avoid killing and the women are free to go through abortion

That's what I do. Still a lot of effort, but it's more acceptable, we kept using it (forgive me, when it comes to cleaning the kitchen I'm clearly the laziest)

Ok but you described a lot of work for a pan that gets used 3 times a day (in terms of time). I do have a cast iron, but we prefer the stainless steel because of how much work is the cast iron.

by Fire-Dragon-DoL 3mo ago
The cast iron is a pain to maintain though

I did not realize this is mostly in the SOUTH. This would be funny to hear for you, but to become fat in the south you just have to have a good appetite: most moms, grandmas and aunts will cook you INCREDIBLE meals (very flavorful stuff), b

No of course, but a whole prosciutto package is very little (100g). There aren't enough calories in a single package to make you fat. Way easier to attribute the problem to pasta. Eating that lunch and dinner, if you make it using non-

Pre-cooked means NOTHING like what you find in north America. You can get plenty pre cooked food that are healthy (and flavorful). Of course you can also still ask for fries, but that's not common in Italy

by Fire-Dragon-DoL 3mo ago
Do remember that Italians cook all their meals, it's a cultural thing

SteamOS uses KDE! GNOME has very little configuration available (sorry, I am a KDE fan). It is incredible in desktop mode, in modern times it can literally provide all the computing a normal user needs, which is kinda ironic.

I am aware, that was my second choice! I heard though Valve is working closely with nvidia to get steamos working, so I am holding for that one instead

by Fire-Dragon-DoL 3mo ago
I got one and I am considering switching everything to SteamOS. Unfortunately I still have nvidia cards around, but the experience is amazing for videogames. As for the desktop experience, having access to linux is way better than windows.

Unfortunately that's not necessary true. HIIT pumpd my adrenaline, I cannot sleep for 2 to 3 hours afterwards, but sometimes life forces you to go late to the gym

by Fire-Dragon-DoL 3mo ago
Because there are people that don't find it enjoyable. I like windsurf a lot, but the cost and effort make me treat it like a "for fun, occasional activity". I do not like going to the gym, but I go 3 times per week for weigh

As a European and Canadian, I find very painful the fact that in the EU you MUST know English, yet there is no country with English as primary language in the whole EU. There is also no way to live in a country by knowing only English, so e

They watched the news. I just came back from holidays in Italy from my family, and they would watch the news from 3 different channel the entire meal. The meal lasted 2 hours each time. (That's 4 hours per day, equivalent to doomscroll

I play only with controllers unless the game strictly requires a mouse and keyboard. You can get controllers pretty cheaply though

Gaming is cheaper now than when I was growing up, but gaming has become a lot more expensive in the last 10 years. Anybody remembers the humble bundle good era, along with the steam sales that would hit 90%? I accumulated so many games over

I don't think that's sufficient. You need to be there and tell them why the other one is shit. I love pistachio gelato (artisanal), and it's my easy way to spot if the gelato being served is good or sucks. I give it to my dau
