The cakeshop very much did not "refuse to serve gays", and really there is absolutely no self-consistent way one could agree with FB deciding that certain content is "racist" and banning it while insisting that Masterpie

I have to say that when I worked with MUMPS (and even then MUMPS was older than anyone who thought up Mongo) we've never lost any data. Too bad GlobalsDB went nowhere...

That sounds much nicer than any edition of Perelman's books I've ever laid my hands on in Russian. Those were great books, though!

I have much more money left over in Austin than I did in San Jose (and living in a 4bd house instead of a crappy SJ 2bd apartment) despite a COLA adjustment from the company... And by the looks of it I could get the pay back up here anyway

Being "smartest" (whatever that means, and assuming it even is so; being good at coding has very little to do with being smart) is completely orthogonal to being a decent person.

I'd think so. I think that the spectacle of Russian regulators banning almost all of the Internet but NOT the Telegram a while ago is even more concerning. Or entertaining, if you aren't using Telegram.

The somewhat cynical answer is that it will be around just fine as long as FSB pays for it. Durov has been singing praises of Putin and Mother Russia right up to the moment he suddenly up and left to supposedly do a "banned in Russia&q

There also are luxury brands that cost as much and don't have any easily visible logos, even if they do have some expensive showrooms. All depends on how exactly one wants to wealth-signal.

Really, the sooner marxism is completely forgotten the better. And what is usually called "cultural marxism" would make Marx and any classic marxist spin in their graves. I would like to see some references of which groups or indi

That does seem a bit excessive, but is getting a transfer permit actually difficult? And it's not like California isn't doing the "war on drugs" either, with the same success.
