Always amusing when a website disallows adblocker in their ToS. Its my computer dipshits. Besides its not as if they can actually do anything about it. I probably don't even come up in their analytics.

GDPR isn't really a revelation. In many European countries there already was data protection legislation. The only thing that changes is that now its more enforceable in a unified market. American companies had a huge unfair advantage

Yep every once in a while I see someone talks about "acceptable ads like static images". But those days are long gone. You can't have ads without tracking.

Throw Enterprise LTSB on old/low spec hardware. Thats my preferred Win10: stable, bloat free and it only gets the updates beta tested by the regular users.

I never learned my English proficienfy in school, let's face it learning a language requires more than a few hours a week in a classroom. Watching TV, playing games and reading books will get you there after a few years. Hell I have im

Funny, concerts and recitals is how artists have made their money since the dawn of time. Hard work but it still beat being a farmer in the field all day. The orgies and coke in studios-age was just an anomaly.

Banks will be blacklisted if they finance drugdealers. The US war on drugs is no joke and it is international. If your bank participates in the global financial system it can't ignore the US.

There's a reason why cash is so unpopular, nobody wants to use it anymore. The only people here who still use cash are those who have something to hide.

No its human greed.Don't monetize your video and it will be fine for years. YT never deletes anything, which is why they're losing money. Any archive ALWAYS loses money. Hosting cat videos for 10 years isn't a good business c

You're making an excellent case against copyright. I always joke about how much money Europe should pay China for ideas like the compass or gunpowder.

That's not just a NY problem though. Amsterdam and London suffer the same insane costs. 1 Labour 2 Century old monuments- Tokyo literally bulldozed a lot of that old crap in the 60s. 3 NYC subway itself is a monument

Oh don't worry those of us who don't have an Echo will get on a special watchlist. You'll give up your freedom soon enough if you can't get child custody or keep getting turned down at job interviews.

We love Netflix and HBO. I mean we KNOW that the US is a sinking ship and that in order for our continued economic success a pivot to China/Asia is necessary. But American TV shows are just too good.

This is happening across the US government as a whole. The US State department is dead for instance. When you have talent and options why stay with a creaky ship that's sailing straight into a hurricane with a mad captain at the helm?
