Windows isn't perfect (as we all know) but at least rolling back to a previous version is a lot easier than how macOS does it.

You can't judge all Android phones the same. One Plus has pushed Android 8 a few weeks ago and their beta channel is on the November security patch. Stop buying Samsung.

That's because the public doesn't care about security. How many people read patch notes or are aware what security patch their Android has?

I've seen apps that asked me to submit a crash report. That seems like a better solution than monitoring all the data all the time. But I don't think it is REALLY about improving the app.

Everyone has bills to pay, I understand. You're not doing anything really evil like joining the SS.

I'm not USian but yes. My country was part of the "coalition of the willing". It was not a proud moment in history. Geopolitical and economical reality means supporting the US straight into hell.

To be fair, although the US is involved in every war and terrorist organisation since the 50s they rarely start them.

Considering how Vietnam and more recently Iraq happened I'm not too convinced of the US government making the right choice.

If you really think about it game reviews are outdated. This isn't the 90s anymore. Go to YouTube and search for the title of the game followed by gameplay. Example: "cold steel gameplay". Now go to page 3 of the search resul

Cutting out the middle man. Lots of people in my country are bypassing Amazon and other Western web retailers now. I know Americans think Amazon is god but they're not the cheapest or even the fastest. Certainly not were I live. There

Not a fan of changing style. People would be pretty pissed if someone did that to a book wouldn't they? But at least they aimed for accuracy. Not too much American culture and memes. And actual respect for the product and creators! Unh

The US is the wealthiest country on paper, sure. But there is huge gap between the elite and the poor. And meritocracy? That's actually a socialist ideal. Fact is that people in the Netherlands or Norway aren't fleeing to the US.

They just upped pension age to 67 here. Its not bad if your life expectancy is 90 and you're in good health.

Yeah I didn't get it legally. Microsoft does not want to sell something that strips out the stuff they make money from.

Gamers are just like people: The most marketed, hyped and memed games will make it. Folks play what everyone else is playing because humans don't really like to express their individuality nearly as much as we like to pretend.

Enterprise LTSB is what you're looking for. No Cortana, just old school search like in win7. >How did it even get launched in this state? Microsoft wants to make money with services not software. I can understand their reasoning. No

NN will always be under constant threat. My own country had it all enshrined in law only to be overruled by Brussels. You're fighting against an entire industry who will stop at nothing to expand profits.

"Privacy from who? Security from what?" The marketing parasite. I know in the US it has taken over the host so I guess its up to Brussels.

https://www.businessinsider.nl/trump-tax-plan-federal-defici... Americans are YOLO. Part of me is in awe, there are rules against increasing the deficit and politicians are just wiping their ass with it.

Depends on the building. The average home is built to different standards than a castle or temple. Before bricks were introduced and straw was outlawed European cities didn't last long either. And in modern times European construction

Taxes. Every politician in the last 30 years got elected by promising lower taxes. Literally nobody in the US has ever asked: if taxes are cut how will it impact the budget? All people want is lower taxes.

Until fairly recently there was no way to earthquake proof houses. Japan also gets a ton of typhoons. Add fires and it is no surprise there's no culture of building to last because it was impossible to. Every city in Japan has been reb
