This is cool. The world could definitely use more email server implementations, even if JS isn't my cup of tea. Have you considered supplementing Mongo with block storage like S3, though? I've found it to be a pretty much perfect

About 30 seconds for a smaller response on an EC2 instance. Mind you this is without a GPU because I couldn't figure out how to set one up.

Oh wow, I was literally just making a toy Discord bot for GPT-2. Guess I'll update it with the bigger model. EDIT: Done! It takes about 3x longer than it did before to generate a response, so if you try it be very patient. Also, I made

Assuming that were true, wouldn't it be a massive existential risk to Google? The finely tuned ML model that classified everything correctly before might catch fire and explode if the thing generating its data changes. In practice I as

This article didn't mention whether or not their servers are attempting delivery using TLS/StartTLS, which is a good thing to check. I think Google penalizes email delivered insecurely.

S3QL does this with sqlite. An actual external DB would give you multiple users at once, though. I've been using a combination of S3/Postgres to get filelike semantics myself, but not with a POSIX interface. The biggest problem fo

> Smartphones are equally as portable, too—but it’s hard to argue that they’re even half as lovely. Actually, why not? You could find an endearing custom printed case, and to an extent personalize the software in a lovely and unique way.

Memorizing APIs is... not how I'd approach productivity, but if it works for you, great. I'm doing a lot of Kotlin right now, where simple, useful extension functions are an autocomplete away. I don't need to memorize how to

A bit of a wild idea: Deduce how important a game is to people by introducing small amounts of artificial delay when playing it. This could be input delay, or maybe the game freezes up for a second every minute, or it takes a bit longer to

I'm skeptical of any model that throws up its hands and says "this is so for a number of reasons I guess". Multifactor trends are unlikely [1], bad at explanation and prediction, and easy to fit to anything. It's better

Is it concerning that there are short, sudden drops in prediction in the middle of a block otherwise solidly classified as rabbit/duck? I don't know much ML, does anyone know why it'd be so discontinuous?

I actually used to bike that road all the time 3-4 years ago. The bridge section before it could be disturbingly dark, but the point where she was crossing was decently lit, as I recall. It was also somewhere I would never consider crossing

I generally recommend .com. You can still get a pretty decent domain name if you try a bunch of options and put some thought into it. (It has to be 5 letters or above; I recently confirmed that every 4 letter or fewer domain name is taken.)

It should support that through Sieve (filters, basically). If you want to redirect a whole domain, that's a routing level function.

Sent externally means to a different account or provider. So basically, sending email to yourself or other users using your account is much cheaper. (There's no spam worries there.)

Don't SPF/SSL also provide proof that email comes from where it says it does? As far as I can tell, DKIM's advantage is to allow for direct message forwarding (not remailing), which is a fair use case, but pretty specific. In
