I can't tell if you're defending this line of thought or making fun of it, but the term "regular language" has a specific mathematical meaning and perverting it to include how Perl uses the term is wrong, plain and simpl

You think it can't destroy lives? You seem to think it's a good idea to summarily believe accusations with no evidence and no attempt to involve the legal system and convict someone in the court of public opinion just because some

I don't think it implies that at all. I think they're saying that the pictures could be compressed with JPEG if they wanted them to be , but they very clearly state that they don't, and nothing in the article indicates that

The FBI does that. They've done it since J. Edgar Hoover. They did it to Martin Luther King .

Life expectancy is a mean value, and it's skewed by people dying young. So the life expectancy at the Paleolithic doesn't mean that people didn't survive past menopause: it means that a lot of people died young.

Maybe I want to believe too much. Regardless, I would say that there's a big difference between murdering someone who is blackmailing you and other kinds of murder, to the point that I wouldn't expect psychopathy from someone who

I would guess that the range of such a device would be horribly short. The smaller the aircraft, the worse the range, in general, and the smaller a gas turbine, the worse its efficiency. Those should combine to give a truly awful range, but
