Satellite orbits are pretty easy to predict. You can do your secret stuff when you know there is a gap in coverage and then throw a tarp over it when they are passing overhead. A balloon screws this up. It can go anywhere anytime. Now you n

I typically stick to lower midrange phones. I absolutely prioritize functionality over looks. Don't care what it looks like at all as long as the screen isn't cracked. I've dropped and broken several and the cost to repair wa

Are you implying that "aircraft carrier balloons" had to be long to accommodate a runway on top? This is not how they worked. Instead, planes were launched and recovered from the bottom of the balloon. https://en.m.wiki

California has had a cash for clunkers type of program off and on for many years. Basically, if you had a car n years old that was still passing smogchecks (ie, still on the road) then the state would offer to buy it off you for $2000 and t

I concede that bacteria may get introduced during final distribution. There is less smoke pollution in the HH area than right here in the bay area where everyone is running their cars all the time.

It could be the fault of the southwest crew for dallying on the runway when there was an incoming jet. Had they gone immediately they would have been long gone by the time FedEx tried to land.

HH water runs inside pipes almost the whole way. It's not picking up much. Are you drinking local RO water? Like rain off your roof? Isn't that full of local smoke particles?

Interestingly, that address is blurred on Google Street view. The roads to access the property (Summit Wood as well as Rhus Ridge and especially Bassett Lane) are at most a car and a half wide in some places. Quadrupling the number of cars

Why does San Francisco put anything in the water? It has some of the best tap water in the country. Hetch hetchy water exceeds all federal and state criteria for tap or bottled water. Raw.

Is the US supposed to not complain now just because the USSR got to complain first? If something flies over your country, you get to loudly complain about it and shoot at it. If you are able to hit it too, good for you.
