See the JPL campus in Pasadena. The building numbers are chaotic because they roughly correspond to when the structure was erected and not anything to do with how to get to it.

You say "along the coastlines" like that's supposed to represent a tiny sliver of the population. In fact, depending on how exactly you define coastline (does the gulf of Mexico count?), probably the majority of the populatio

I've always heard Palestinians (hamas, PLO) calling for all the Israelis to be pushed into the sea and drowned. Interesting how there is very little discomfit about that from non Israelis.

There was one screensaver that would make your cube slowly rotate while all your windows (still displaying live content, mind you) would swirl around on the inside like papers caught in a small tornado.

That's nice for you that your 20 minute poop breaks are enough time to charge your car. On the other hand, every time I have traveled by car between the bay area and LA (~400 miles, 5-6 hours one way) , I/we never* made any stops

Eh. I've been down a road that hadn't been maintained in over 40 years. I thought it would be worse. You can't relax while driving it because the bad sections are BAD, but between them are stretches of just fine, clearly old

It's more or less directly north of where the LAX traffic pattern makes the U-turn to line up final approach. So the right side of the plane can always catch a glimpse of the sign, but the left side coming from anywhere north-ish will

Most countries can't hit something hanging out at 60000 feet. The US can, but it can also blow up satellites. So if you can send satellites over unmolested, maybe you also try with a huge-ass balloon. It's way cheaper. Worth a sho
