Not only does overtime not give you a linear increase in performance, but in my personal experience overtime it decreases overall performance. I work at a small programming company where gratuitous overtime is the norm as a project closes.

zevyoura, you actually did a great job of summarizing my positions (especially for someone I assume does not fully share them). This is just such an unnecessary combination of something I happen to love and something I happen to hate.

I'm sure the animal doesn't care about specifically being a prize. I'm sure he/she cares about the care that follows being treated as an object.

There is also a long history of parents arranging those marriages - doesn't make any of it a good idea.

You think factory farms are disturbing now? Just wait until animals cannot feel pain. I'm envisioning far more fights to the death for starters.

I understand the interest in a novel kind of engineering, and this seems to be more of a thought exercise than anything else. I also understand that not everyone shares my views on animals, but this is such an awful exercise. This absurd me

Agreed, but like bmelton it took me longer than usual to figure out it was interactive. The little "try it" could definitely have been more obvious.

I'm really excited by this. I've always thought of gaming as one of the things really holding linux back from taking a more reasonable market share on the desktop (I said one of). Even people who prefer linux are forced to dual-boot or use

I wish I had enough karma to downvote this useless comment. At least have the decency to tell us why you think this is so awful. I for one love seeing things like this on HN. One of my favorite things about this site is it's not just news.
