I've always thought very carefully about my paths' efficiency (despite not being a mathematician). I walk in a similar way except I'm okay with spending more time in the street.

This is a really excellent presentation. It got me to finally make the connection between currying and closures - I think that was the missing awesome piece I was missing for really understanding the importance of closures.

Well, I'm extremely excited about the impact this might have on the rest of the population. And I'd be ecstatic to have a more ethical alternative for my pets. Personally, I have no plans of going back to meat - even lab-grown.

And I simply disagree with that. Don't test it out. Use it. Take the canonical to-do app. Don't create a list and just test out your features. Integrate it into your life. Use it for your home improvement projects and your shopping list.

Is there much difference between bad vigilante justice and bad institutional justice? How about the good variety? We know the criminal justice gets things wrong all the time. I guess we'd like to say accountability, but even that's not real

Of course it does. Models are useful because they have predictive power. If you have time travel, you don't need to predict anything.

Yes, it's incredibly different! A huge problem in AI is internally modelling the outside world. This completely sidesteps that.

stouset is obviously not arguing that the ruby version with "&:" is immediately obvious to any programmer. The point is if you know ruby, you will understand that line a lot quicker than the second example.
