It's cool per se, but I cannot really understand all this waste. Sure, it's for a cool 20 min video, but all the single-use buttons, mats, acrylic panels, LED strips, custom-made ethernet cables, ... A shame IMHO

It is the same in Geneva as the telecom "room" is underground somewhere in the city where everybody goes but nobody notices. You also access it via a nondescript small "hut". Good memories indeed.

Started using wayland a year ago with sway. A was a bit frightened at first, but in the end everything worked. From firefox, to steam and their games. The only "drawback" was that when I launched windows (ex: wireshark) at root, i

I'm sorry, but making only "squash commits" is also a bad idea. You can have a MR with multiple independent, atomic, commits. The "real" solution is making the developers aware of the issue and cleanup up their hist

I really thought about doing the same. On top of bicycling, I own a renault twizy which is a really small electric car. I wanted to attach a sweeper on it because the bicycle lanes around me are always full of debris. I found out that it&#

Well, tbh dual-stack is enabled in 70% of France's customers for example. If you start with a solid base (having a fixed IPv6 /56 delegation for example), or at least a dynamic allocation with IPv6-PD, then you'll see that it

You're comparing two remote sites linked by IPv4 NAT to distributing IPv6 from a /64 (which was never meant to be subdivided) which is dynamic..

Isn't this solved with 3-D Secure ? Many websites (at least in the EU) implement it and if mandatory, it's impossible to buy something without 2FA (either by SMS, phone app, ...)

My ISP offers a plan without IPv4 at a lower price. v4 websites only are served through their NAT64/DNS64 infrastructure and it works really well except for some dumb applications that hardcode the IPv4 instead of using domain names (y

Same here. I have two old EVs. A Renault Twizy, 70km of range, which is really great for city driving (I even have a tow hitch on it in order to go to the recycling place), and a more "real" car: Hyundai Ioniq, 200km of range, whi
