I'm sorry but that is a bit ignorant on your part. Ecosystems and ecosystem services should not be underestimated. You could have a much bigger impact that you could think of.

I recommend everyone interested in this subject to read "Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty" by Daron Acemoglu It's a great book that tries to explain why.

I have an account in a Swiss bank too. Never had any problem with it abroad (France, Spain, UK). I never hear from them and I love it. My card was stolen once and I received a call the next day, everything was reimbursed. When I call it

I deal with lots of devices we put on customers networks. The problem is that 172.16.0.0/12, 10.0.0.0/8 and 192.168.0.0/16 are all used by customer networks. It's a pain when setting up VPN addressing. Thus I chose 11.0.

À better law would be something around: "devices should be made so that they can be taken apart and reassembled at least n times". That would discourage copious amounts or glue and still let the engineers use the methods they want

I don't think so. I have an industrial VPN with ~300 embedded devices behind them. For some reason the user wants to access to each one of it via https. I thus set up an Apache proxy which proxies https://device_n.vpn.cust.t

That's not true. 1) modern railway is fully IGBT powered. In this case it is trivial to inject current. 2) with DC current you need a substation capable of converting AC to DC (easy: bridge rectifier) but also DC to AC (to given tolera

One part is driving prices down because you've got a good IT optimising system, real time tracking, ease of use, etc. Ans another part is driving prices down artificially without making money just to choke the concurrence.
