"Typing cmd in the run dialog will launch PowerShell as well" What? I'm a big PowerShell fan, but I see the need to keep cmd around for a while. Clobbering it before it's phased out seems problematic.

As a .NET dev, I'm happy to see this: "a new way of view, edit, and debug any code without projects and solutions" Seems silly, but this solves a long time gripe w/ VS.

Not saying we have to, and the memory constraint might eventually make it infeasible, but my team's developer process is a lot easier when we can run our stack (12 web services, db, message bus, reporting service) at once. There's

I actually went the opposite. At some point I realized I was watching Pluralsight courses and declaring success because I finished the last video and therefore I was leveled up in that thing. Quizzes on Udacity stuff and Coursera courses (e

Disclosure: I'm not a Udacity employee, but I am a fan and a MOOC supporter (since I only program professionally because I learned through them + books). Only say this because I'm about to be pretty defensive of Udacity. 1) Not al

Docs here [1] say yes. It also seems to imply that this is edited by the `yarn` command so it would be invalidated if you manually edited your `package.json`? Dunno if it's destructively invalid though. 1: https://yarnpkg.co

PowerShell has other ones in addition to the cannibalistic ones. `Get-ChildItem` has `gci` and the command in question, `Invoke-WebRequest` has `iwr` on top of `wget` and `curl`. Admittedly, it's pretty kitchen sinky.

I'll counter with the suggestion that nothing about how you access an editor should impact your SCM process. Cloud9 has a terminal to run SCM tools and a light-featured Git UI if that's your thing.
