As a curiosity, how do we feel about changing the names of the lifecycle methods from "lifeCycleEvent" to "onLifecycleEvent"? Looks like a lot of stuff is pretty transparently portable from React code, I think it's

This may be colored by me being self-taught, but aside from interviews, why algorithms? Seems to me that the best way to test your well-rounded skills as a programmer is to build and launch a product. Even if you don't aim to be an ent

There's a graphic midway through the article that makes a distinction. I don't necessarily agree, but the author (and apparently ML) see AR with additional overlays, like HUDs, and MR as virtual models and things, such as a whale

I'd like to take a moment to comment on the general theme of responses in this thread. Rhetoric such as "chin up" and "it could be so much worse" and "relax" are very commonly seen in response to those suf

FWIW, this looks like it might only apply to games purchased through Oculus Home, the Steam equivalent for the Oculus Rift (or perhaps the UPlay equivalent). Games/experiences that aren't distributed via Oculus Home (SteamVR, Stea

Odd that the twitchy front page of /r/Oculus made it's way on the front page here, but I'll echo the ever-present Oculus founder's response that addressing this is pretty high on their roadmap. Sauce: https:/&

I own a developer kit (DK2) Rift and AFAIK all games mirror what the wearer is seeing onto the primary monitor. Which is good for sharing an individual's experience, but doesn't do much for group experiences. I'm pretty excit
