The transmitters near John Tune airport in Nashville regularly interfere with avionics. Been that way for years, and no action....

Well articulated and completely agree. Starting to feel a bit like how things must have felt in the 60s...exciting.

I have both an MK3S and an X1C and the MK3S has basically been unplugged since the X1C came. I love the Prusa and I would not hesitate to recommend it, but the X1C is a generational improvement in 3d printing. I really have no idea what you

JLC is awesome. Shipping takes 3x as long as it takes them to make the boards, even with PCBA (which is to say they are fast). I do wish we had the equivalent here in the states to cut down on the shipping time.

Tesla is about to open their supercharger network to everyone. Like, starting 10 minutes from now.

Hondas, BMWs, Teslas, Jeeps. The truck is my favorite combination of performance, utility and quality. Especially compared to the Tesla, the build quality is exceptional.

Data point of one, but my R1T is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned. Rooting for them.

Oof. Good thing they found the bug, and good thing the only issue was two tail strikes. Inaccurate weight and balance data is no joke, with the potential to cause much more serious issues.

Wow. I appreciate the perspective, but it’s hard for me to even understand how a person could operate that way.

As far as I can tell, it's programmers and adjacent. I am currently hiring for an infrastructure role (sr. network engineer/architect) and it has been miserable, even for remote positions. Certainly don't see an influx of ava

NOTAMs/TFRs are not particularly noteworthy, but this kind of TFR reads like something non-routine and out of the ordinary.

TBH I think misrepresenting this as identifying the "actual" source training material to make an image is way worse than what SD is doing. That's just a blatant lie.

As a former BMW super fan, it’s so sad to watch them systematically destroy everything that made the brand awesome.

It is almost definitely this. Plenty of discussion about exactly this thing if you look into the Helium subreddits/discord etc.

Probably not. Best case you're getting a few kbps, but generally less - especially if you want long range.

Yeah, the thing people always miss is that these engines are flat-rated at whatever hp. I.e., they'll do it for most of their operating lives, vs. the occasional WOT in a car.

I kinda like its method though. Think I'm just gonna throw my own "Internal server error" response out when I get the 12th frustrating email reply and I've had enough.

Pro-tip, at least on Apple devices: "buy" the trial, then immediately cancel it in your subscriptions. You'll still have access to it for whatever the trial period is, then it'll just stop working (vs. bill you).

Whether you believe in the crypto aspect of it or not, the Helium network provides really good public LoRaWAN connectivity in a lot of places. Much easier than building out the whole network, including gateways and the backend. The cool par

Nope, it's not meant for that. Think low-bandwidth, small transmissions with highly compact but valuable data (sensors, actuators, etc). Even with LoRa as-is, changing settings to optimize for bandwidth costs you real range.

This is a game changer. It works really, really well - better than I ever expected to see internet on a plane work. The price tag seems ridiculous, but will probably make sense for a lot of the operators of the planes on their initial STC.
