Another option is to use `SecureRandom.uuid_v7` like this: # app/models/application_record.rb class ApplicationRecord < ActiveRecord::Base include PrimaryKeyGenerator end # app/models/concerns

I have 5000+ git repos locally that I grep through regularly and I have to admit my hopes for ASIF being faster were busted. It is faster than sparsebundle, but nowhere near native, unfortunately.

It looks to me like a stretch to call it an Internet Standard since there's no RFC. Out of curiosity: why not use `/.well-known` namespace for this?

Me personally (sample size 1) - not really, but my social network usage is non-existing. I only have X where I follow tech folk and that's it. Not a user of FB/Instagram/etc.
