In addition to some other good points made by respondents to your comment, I would wager that the bottleneck for identifying this gene in the general population would be orders of magnitude more significant than just handing out the vaccine

As far as I know, none of the COVID19 vaccines have been tested on children under 12 or are currently planned on being given to children. Additionally, it's not as if the average vaccine has a 0.005% chance of giving you narcolepsy. Th

You can't measure long-term immunity on a virus that's only been in the wild for ~11 months. That said, all the recent studies I've seen show no signs that immunity is going to drop significantly after a year. I hate to link

None of the initial vaccines use anything remotely resembling an inactive virus, much less a attenuated virus.

I wonder if any software product managers ever conceived that in shipping software with known bugs to meet a deadline, they'd somehow be slightly eroding people's faith in vaccination science. It's kind of wild when you think

I'm in a rush, so hopefully someone can dig up some actual links to scientific papers, but current immunity from naturally infected people has stayed strong and shows no sign of weakening. The immune response from the vaccination has a

To continue this analogy, this is more along the lines of a patch to fix a remote code execution bug that is being actively exploited in the wild at an increasing rate. Your alternative is to only connect to the network very infrequently, u

I cannot begin to quantify the impact SA has had in my life. Anytime I'm remotely interested in something I can generally find some big thread talking about it. There is occasionally a bit of groupthink, but for the most part you gener

True, but the inherent costs of a medium format sensor (not even taking into account the likely extra costs of a curved sensor) mean that the bare minimum you could sell this fixed-lens camera for would be several thousand dollars. I just d
