True, I can recommend hotwire turbo as an alternate similar to htmx, it has a js framework called Stimulus that integrates nicely for those instances where you need some custom interactivity.

This went out the window the moment that developers weren't rare anymore. Nowadays there is so many people all over the world willing and able to do the work to produce apps, apple is free to exersize their duopoly power and treat them

Not a problem in the Netherlands. Unsolicited calls from companies you where never a customer of where made illegal a while back. In the last year i've had 1 robo spammer call and 1 telemarketer, so it seems to be working.

Youtube already has quite an interesting clickbait detection mechanism. If the click ratio on a thumbnail is high, but the watch time low, it will be downranked as clickbait. https://www.socialvideoplaza.com/en/articles

I'd think GSAP timeline is exactly made for that, but you say you've already tried that? https://greensock.com/docs/v3/GSAP/Timeline https://greensock.com/docs/v3/GSAP/

Totally agree, I cancelled my subscription because the way the extension works (worked?) is just way too distracting, shoving (often wrong) suggestions in my face all the time. It should have an mode where it only ever suggests a single bes

Yes, neural networks are "constructs", not algorithms, we fully agree.

Well, people here seem to disagree, so take this for what it's worth, but executing a neural net doesnt have a series of logical steps like an algorithm (add X to Y), but instead knowledge is implicitly stored in the link strengths of

I wouldn't call a neural net an algorithm, it works distinctly different from what is usually meant by that.

Good question. Container orchestration seems unneeded when you want to run max 1 of everything, but maybe there is more to it.

You can request and get a full copy of your data anywhere, and be fully deleted if you want. Every company has become aware and afraid of data leaks because they are required to report them. The cookie banner thing is… unfortunate.

How would this work with npm libraries? What if the js files I import are using a different type checker / a newer version of the type checker / invalid types?
