I'll be blunt. When you break compatibility with Classic Theme Restorer, Status-4-Evar, and QuickNote, I'm switching over, 100%, to Pale Moon. Between Australis and WebExtensions, Firefox has been moving farther and farther away

No company is "supposed" to do anything in my eyes; and I'd rather if they all did a lot less that wasn't defined as "produce this one very specific product that does one thing well". If anything, the agencies

I grew up with DOS and Windows, I have no interest whatsoever in moving to Linux; in fact I have an active disinterest in doing so, if for no other reason than the fact that all my software is for Windows. ReactOS is my main upgrade option

Sorry for going to a further tangent but... I'm definitely not a lawyer, but do I get a little frustrated at its overuse in pop culture too. Of course, most people don't think of "conspiracy to commit" as a crime, so th

Unlike you, it's the open-source parts of Vivaldi I'm most afraid of. I trust them to support their users and I believe they desire to have users who trust & respect them. I don't trust people who are more code-savvy tha

This strikes me as both a bad sign about Google's direction and Mozilla's willingness to accept that without publicly calling them out as Vivaldi just did.

Well, if I were the team at Vivaldi, I would be using as little of Google's tech until THEY bend. After all, Opera 15+ and Vivaldi now both use Google's web engine. That feels like a major mistake to me, because it constantly te

Instead of going to Chrome, I think you should consider moving to the better alternative to Firefox, Pale Moon. It has all the same mindset of decent Firefox, XUL compatibility (and an oath to never use WebExtensions), and other features.

How can we best contribute to the total removal and scrapping of WebExtensions in favor of a more robust XUL development environment? How can we contribute to Firefox not becoming another meaningless Chrome clone like Opera or Vivaldi? Be

What's the problem with blocking this? Remove JavaScript and you basically fix the Web.

I do hate to be the jerk here, but this page keeps getting reposted just about annually - it started here almost a decade ago. I know that SkiFree was a memorable game, and it's nice that the programmer released it all those years ago

I keep forgetting that the Atari 2600, the NES, the Apple II and the C64 had the same processor. But... didn't the C64 have a modem? So it should be able to connect to the Internet, even if very slowly?
