I've met a few freelancers that claim to be able to do both, but they tend to fall into either the designer or developer camp; either a good developer that can just about use Photoshop, or a designer that can throw some mark-up togethe

I've given my fair share of hate towards developers that use WordPress for everything (advanced CMS, application platform, etc) but the reason it is so popular is because it's such a great blogging platform. Yes, it's quite b

Have you not thought of using a CI tool to do this for you, on push to a select branch? This is basically what they do.

I don't know, but it's a very annoying trend. I appreciate the work that has gone into this code, but if you want to deploy using source control then you should really be looking into continuous integration and deployment.

You're absolutely right. However, is it a crime that could be tracked, without an employee explicitly whistle-blowing to the feds? Even then, could the feds prove this? I'm no expert, and I'm probably wrong in saying this, bu

Well, they're not going to crack a ton of passwords that quickly, and I'm guessing that they're testing against the live server, so if the password doesn't work then surely the most obvious answer is that the password ha

This is probably a stupid comment to make, but when the feds request these passwords what is stopping a firm from giving over a set of tampered passwords? Let's say a request is made for Google give over loads of Gmail passwords. Could

It's Hollywood. Chances are their work has already enriched the lives of some bigoted fuckheads. Why single out a product based on another product by a noted homophobe when we won't do it to numerous others?
