Recent versions of IE have been very noticeably faster on my machines than Chrome. Every time I open IE up to test a site that I've been working on in Chrome, it's amazing how much smoother animations are and how much quicker page

Historically, Microsoft Research has been very disconnected from Microsoft corporate and don't position/frame their work in terms of a profit motive. Their work sometimes influences or filters its way into Microsoft products, but

Unless I misunderstood, the new DTU measure is being used to gauge relative performance between the different tiers, not for usage (or billing that usage).

Unless I'm mistaken, water poisoning is only a credible threat when you consume exclusively those high volumes of water and nothing else to raise the salinity of the water in and around your cells. Over the course of a day, most of us

With a few exceptions (which may be what poolpool is referring to), Dell's UltraSharp lines have been one of the better sources of consistently good consumer IPS displays for 10+ years.

If buying MSDN works out to be cheaper than the Partner program, why not buy MSDN licenses instead?

I can't share the specific examples, unfortunately. That's right that if you force a googlebot request from the webmaster tools, it's essentially just how the basic googlebot would wget a page on your site. We know they'

A few years ago, I wrote a little crawler to run through the top 200k sites on Alexa, search for script references, and log them to a database, to get a sense for what the real usage of Google's jQuery CDN was in the wild[0]. IIRC, tha
