It's pretty cool being able to get this setup on my Mac and easily play around from the command line. It makes it much more accessible as a language than when it was more closely tied to the Windows/Visual Studio ecosystem.

Maybe you already have but try adjusting your cleartype settings if you have not. It makes a real difference for me.

One problem with the stack right now is if you are using Jira to track issues internally then users who aren't party to the ticket aren't able to see what's going on very easily. Perhaps/hopefully this will provide that

As well as the packages that people have mentioned, there are nice bundles like Anaconda or Canopy which makes it easier to get started. Certainly working with people who know data but don't necessarily know much Python (even if they k

Ivy, part of swiper, is also good and more light weight, it's what I use for completion now. (though I used helm for ages and really liked it too). https://github.com/abo-abo/swiper

For Windows users the incantation to get a version with fonts that aren't great but readable is this: gswin64 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -o fasc6a.pdf fasc6a.ps You can get ghostscript here: http://www.ghostscript.com/download&#

Hilariously, there's actually nothing stopping the kid phoning whoever they want. It's controlled by a contact group on the phone, that the child device can edit at will. Step 1 would be to add all friends to that group.

Hell, uninstalling is mild. Set the parent phone to a child phone and vice versa, all you need is to guess that password. I wonder if it's the same as their email account?

It's not often things declared 'unusable' are actually 'unusable', but ye gods. What on earth? Why would you map scroll behaviour to /that/?

But in most real codebases separate units don't interact cleanly. "you look at the connections between the modules and see whether any data can possibly flow from one to the other." is something that would be very hard to do

Not entirely clear why you're conflating the IWF list with the EU Right to be Forgotten. They're different systems run in different ways by different groups.

Even in other fields if you were just 'exploring', ie you didn't know what controlled experiment to perform, you would perform sample size 1 experiments in the hope of generating a testable hypothesis. That doesn't mean

Just for historical context, ORG itself was started by pledges of recurring donations of £5 a month. I'd guess that's why the notion of 'Join' is still front and centre.

The new themes are quite nice, and it is a nice touch to give a free 'premium' theme pack to users who paid in the past.

Landing page wise, a sign up link at the bottom as well as the top would make a lot of sense. Otherwise there's no call to action when you've read all the pitch.

I take victories where I can find them. (Not giving up the fight though) It helps that the ISP seem to on the whole not want to cut peoples internet off, it is rather bad for business.
