I consider current length of copyright to be extremely too long. On other hand I also think that creators should be compensated when their creations are used to train AI models and this compensation should be substantial per company. And to

There is also real world considerations. Like packet loss, latency and jitter. Some users might have less than perfect connections so sending more at time when it is known is for better user experience. I think we often forget just how good

Not to forget the editors responsible at time. Why not leadership and board members if they can be found. Making responsible people responsible publicly is most effective way. Fully deserved shame can do wonders to world.

My professor thought that there could be paper in my thesis. Thankfully they did not insist. Work was pretty crap and useless(mostly due to happening in between versions of project/idea they were working on). But well I did graduate so

Makes me think of possible things with dinosaurs. I haven't followed anything lately but them going from lizards/reptiles to well more bird like creatures is likely similar but less observed.

I think there is good chance that AIs have already replaced parts of the certain aspects of industry. And with some tuning could probably replace lot more of at least virtual parts...

The market has been heavily engineered and gamed to be positive sum. But sometimes I wonder could it turn out to be negative sum on certain timescales. That is that overall money would be lost on markets.

Is the cable connected from say desktop computer to wall socket a patch cable? Or does that only apply to those used in server rooms or switch cabinets?

It is very big assumption to me. It is now used very widely. But I am not sure if it was at all common back in the history. Most systems were kinda different from it.

They could be. Incitement to commit crime is a crime in many places. And penalty can be same as for the crime itself. Now I very much question if automated system should be inciteable. And think that there is very much higher responsibility

Sometimes or even quite often considering objects as records is reasonable approach. It has set of fields. And maybe functions helpful to manipulate these fields or even use them. Even more complicated things are just records. And then some

Finland has escaped most of the heat of Central Europe. We have had hard rains occasionally, but overall not that much more rain. From stats look like 100-150% of historic numbers. So it has really not rained outside the high pressure zone.

Most sensible explanation to me is that it is getting something that does scanning on the 3d printers. Next step is to make it apply to copyrighted designs. As that is lot more doable. And fascists like to be in control and allow big corpor

Because after proper verification you very much aren't at JIT territory. Take the network stack. From my memories a proper commercial test suit from say Defensics is from a few thousand to tens of thousand cases. For each of Ethernet,

I would seriously recommend against building your own network stack for production use. Or writing your own web server for production use. Or database (whatever SQL or NoSQL) also for production use. These sort of things are more complicate

It does make some sense. There are some semi-reasonable scenarios where not that much power is needed and you use electricity. Still they make no sense with data centres and there should be reasonably sensible name plate capacity on it.
