F# is so hard to walk back from. I wish Microsoft would support it better and actually push it, because it's such a perfect sweet spot. Most of the functional advantages without being shackled to pure functions and the like is so easy

I’ve always felt there’s still better ways to do that. For every place where it can be an interesting question you get some entry level posting at, at best, bland corp and the real answer is “I’d like to not starve” but they expect and song

I believe mathematically you’re only 20 moves from solving in any sufficiently scrambled position . Don’t know if they’re controlling for that or not but I suppose if that would matter depends on how far ahead of the previous record this is

Most users click on every single download link and install shit they shouldn't touch. The simple problem has always been that when you're selling someone a $1000 piece of hardware that's supposed to "just work" how

The murders not being solved aren't "Perfect crimes". It's a matter of resources and timing. 99% of murder investigations mostly boil down to: 1. Literally witnessed by one or more people, possibly officers or on camera

I mean...it literally says in the title they're from N. Korea. So it's not like we don't know where they are, and we all know the US government can do mostly fuck all about that, so not sure what point OP was trying to make.

I've always found the diehard linux/FOSS crowd naive and abrasive simply because it seems to totally ignore reality. If you're good at coding, and you enjoy coding, you probably want to do it for a living. Not as a second jo

I would suspect it is essentially invisible to the naked eye. It likely only exists in extremely specific conditions, not just like a sheet. I’m guessing it’s somewhat similar to a microscopic layer around a material that we never notice.
