Japan is pretty lax about age verification for buying alcohol (you still even see some alcohol vending machines) but I'd be at least a little surprised if a 4 year old could buy a beer in a konbini today - but maybe the staff would mak

It sounds to me like GP was asked to present documentation and assumed they wanted ID cards or birth certificates. But that doesn't make much sense to me, because an ID card wouldn't prove a familial relationship anyway, which is

Note that if you're doing that (citing something you wrote) or really even doing what the other poster is saying (editing pages about a family member) you're subject to the conflict of interest policy too and need to disclose it:

In either case dereferencing a null pointer would still be a bug, right? Or is it kind of "all bets are off" if you feed LLVM bad IR and don't enable verification?

I'm curious what line you're riding and at what times of day. I love the MBTA and rode it for years (Red Line and Green B/D) but I've definitely been on rail cars that "smell like piss" or similar.

Well, it could also be the case that everything is working as designed, and that they gave your address to someone else who did have a data breach or is themselves sending the phishing emails.

As mentioned in the article, it's entirely possible to create a raw pointer to an object in safe rust, you just can't do much with it. One thing you can do with it though is convert it to an integer and reveal a randomized base ad

The post says "there is a public proof-of-concept available." If that's true, just link to it. The cat's already out of the bag.

Normally I wouldn't, but seeing as your post is about being corrected in English, I'll correct you. >nobody correct you anymore Should be "nobody corrects you anymore"

Yeah, I understand that, but I don't understand why you can't execute a state machine in another account/region - assuming the IAM policy allows it. If this is a limitation of the startExectuion resource, I don't see it

Wait, what? There are states where I can buy a million dollar house with a loan, and if I default they can only take the house, not the value of the loan? If someone told me that 10 years ago, I might have made different life choices.

I think it isn't quite common knowledge that you don't "need" to active a virtual environment to use it. For years, I thought that activating a virtualenv was changing the PATH (so I would get the right binaries in my sh
