The primary way that different demographics have different experiences on tinder is not related to who they're looking for, it's related to who's looking for them. Users that get lots of matches with minimal work fundamentall

To anyone that knows anything about tinder having age hidden implies that you have premium implies that you are desperate. Only a fool would use the hide age option.

People have wildly different experiences on tinder based on gender and age, among other things. It would follow that they value the premium features differently and be willing to pay more or less for them too. >to which I say that no typ

Sorry, but where have you been for the last decade? This is how every free WiFi I've used all around the world has ever worked. It's not specific to airports.

They should be more transparent about their pricing, but it seems to me like they offer different demographics fundementaly different services so charging different amounts isn't unreasonable.

I'm not familiar with Wikimedia plugins. In some plugin ecosystems there's an expectation that plugins need to adapt to deprecated apis, bump dependencies, etc. Is that the case for wikimedia plugins? Regardless, 3 months seems li

Ah, I was thinking a different tactic: Everyone would just make mega-pages so that the page itself isn't stale but specific sections are. I think the best approach to this problem I've seen is an Last Edited date (or preferably, a

One reason they might not have a comprehensive list is because some might be relatively expensive to execute, but they can't/won't disable them for legacy reasons.

It sounds like he's saying that depending on the Referer header for a loaded comments section, HN may or may not generate upvote buttons that are duds. Looks like there's an auth parameter in the upvote GET request, so sounds enti

Strangely, I got a notification for this on twitter.com on Win 10 Chrome and it said "you are no longer using a vulnerable version of Anrdoid on this device".[1] I do use Twitter for Android on my phone, so maybe they sent the not

Something I've noticed is that Dead Code Elimination for Javascript sucks . Yes, there are the (relatively) single "tree shaking" algorithms, but there because of various language issues, it's very hard to mark code as

Due to the focus on security, I'm curious about customer isolation here. When you do interconnect with a cloud provider, it's traditionally into a VPC. Does cloudflare have a similar concept in play? How, for example, am I prevent

Potentially they can't get much edge cache offload for HTML/API content because many people are logged in and/or they do page customization even for non-logged in sessions and pushing logic to the edge isn't worth it.
