I never try to get too much into the math, but the amount of concrete required for X is staggering in general, even at small scale. Recently built a foundation for my deck, what was estimated on the concrete tube for pillars was nowhere nea

I remember attending most of my middle school (6th & 7th grade) in "modules". Which is really just a fancy term for a trailer. There were probably 5-10 of them adjacent to the parking lot. It's how they handled the fact t

It's really hard to talk about swing. It's much easier to show . Also, "tightness" plays a major role in whether someone can swing well or not. How well their swing matches up to someone else's.

Ah, the old "if it's happening here, it must be happening everywhere ". The thing I like most about the US, is it's diversity across all fronts.

I've seen it fragment and specialize. And I'm okay with that. For instance with musicians - particularly guitarists (only because we tend to be gear enthusiasts) - Reverb.com has become our new Ebay.com. It's even replacing C

I'm sure the largest generation in retirement entering late-life doesn't help with the situation. Provides ripe opportunity for jacking up health care costs on age 50+ ailments/treatments.
