This. The problem is that it is fairly easy to add another layer of protection, but nearly impossible to remove or replace it later.

Afaik, it uses Chromium's sandboxing? That said, safety is about much more than just sandboxing.

I don't know about Chrome (rarely use it), but I _hate_ megabar in Firefox. It covers my bookmarks and is completely useless. Why would this input be any different than other input? I wonder whoever thought that covering other UI eleme

Re web workers: is anyone (apart from Google) using this in practice? I assume Photopea and similar apps could benefit from it in some specific cases, but haven't had the need for them myself. Am I missing something?

Fair point, except - I am more concerned with tracking than the ads themselves. Which means I want to block Google fonts anywhere, and only allow domains when I want to. So no, I prefer uMatrix approach.

The question is - _an_ adblocker or _the_ adblocker (ublock)? As a long time FF Android user I prefer uMatrix and will wait with upgrade, hoping they fix this quickly. Otherwise... Not sure what I'll do. This is bad. :-(

A lot of these, but not all (JSX for example). And then you have to worry about support - caniuse is great help, but it gets very tiring. But to me the main benefit is something else. React & co. let you define the state and then render

With multiple servers you can add space to each of them. With a single one there is a much lower limit to what you can do - that's the idea behind vertical/horizontal scalability. That, and the systems with multiple nodes can be m

Konqueror was even further ahead. After you searched for something via search engine and then opened a page, it offered you buttons which could be used to search for those same terms on the result page. Very useful, but never saw it elsewhe

MobX doesn't get enough hate either. Inexperienced devs will put everything in the global state and end up with a soup. And, as opposed to Redux, it is _magic_ - I would have trouble rewriting it from the docs, would you be able to do

No need for EC2, you can use Digital Ocean or Hetzner Cloud (GDPR ftw) to cut the costs.
