When you say "Hetzner Cloud", what exactly do you mean? I have checked their marketing pages and they only seem to offer IaaS - is this correct?

FWIW, I find AWS limits confusing and seemingly random. Also, the fact that you can't limit total spending is _very_ unfriendly to (at least indie, as you point out) developers. I have no experience with DO though, maybe that will chan

But it's really not. Different users have different preferences and it seems like you would love uMatrix. I would suggest you give it a try.

As someone who has "nothing to hide", the prospect of such search is why I don't consider travelling to USA a possibility. Or at least not with my phone / laptop.

Can't open the link because of rate limiting - hn effect? Anyway, is any phone-home spying? What if it phones US servers, say Google's? Unfortunately I can't think of a popular brand that doesn't spy on its users (no mat

Ha, what do you know... :D I actually always use startpage.com, but since they are using Google, I assumed they passed this query to it. What is interesting is that this trick still works on startpage.com while it doesn't on google...

The cynic in me is saying that JS is the new PHP. Ironically, both are very capable and suitable languages, but the sheer freedom they offer attracts crowds of wannabe developers who think they are gods because they know how to shave off 10
