Genuinly curious: if you don't protect the host, how can you protect the users? Host has the power to change any content, including BTC addresses, text,...

The obvious alternative is to have metadata about file in a separate descriptor, which could be saved either in first N bytes of the file, or in the file allocation table itself. However implementing this in this age would be impractical as

Does that really happen? Both CLI and GUI utils help find the correct file name (using Tab and by sorting, respectively). Can someone raise a hand if that happens to them?

While I have as much disrespect for Windows and MS in general as any web developer who had to deal with IE, I think this issue is a bug in Git. Windows git executable should be aware of OS limitations and should be able to work around them.

Did you mean OBD(2)? There are Bluetooth, wifi and usb controllers available that you can use to read and write data. Some of them are very cheap, not sure how well they work though.

I disagree. Competition is important, sure, because every customer will evaluate you against them and will only decide for your product if he finds it better. BUT, you don't need to be better in every aspect. You can represent a better

What do you expect Bloomberg to do? Give up their sources? I'm sure they will have no trouble getting new stories if they did that, right? Given the size of the story and their commitment to it I would bet they were duped. There are ma

There is no reason for Docker to be slower, it must be some kind of configuration issue. Containers are basically just processes and there is virtually no difference in execution times.

Not sure why you're being downvoted, as assaults by females are probably much less common (but not any better). In any case, "her" might also be a gender-neutral form of "him", if I'm not mistaken.
