Is it really? I understand that honey and syrup isn't as bad as pure white sugar, but is it really something that is "good"?

The newest versions of Chrome and Firefox has been working on Windows 7 for quite some time already. This is my major objection when people insist that "Internet Explorer has caught up". It's true that the latest IE isn't light-years behind

The question was basically, why would anybody buy a PS3 for these games instead of a PC? I just told you. It's cheaper. That's not some obscure "gotcha" reason.

If the factories are operating with giant iron cog wheels older than your grandmother, then maybe yes, we should. The world of software is moving a lot faster than the physical world, so things can become outdated pretty quickly. Compare a

We should stop talking about this immediately and focus on the real issues like arresting Julian Assange for aiding the enemy, several of the things he leaked could potentially be used by the enemy in some way, somehow.

How exactly would DRM for HTML5 work? Couldn't I just fork Chronimum or Firefox and make the browser save the video content in a file rather than showing it?

I'm guessing that by piggybacking on biology, we can use a lot of preexisting abilities of the living for our organic computers, such as self-repairing.

I've heard that setting up shop is quite expensive in Australia due to a number of factors, and that the online prices is matched up to the retail price to avoid hurting profits.

Wouldn't this be an issue any business that offers prices in more than one currency experience?

There isn't a nation on earth that doesn't have some workaround, be it martial law or these special clauses. Adding that it is only for things that are necessary in a democratic society is a good touch, because it makes it harder to make ar

The looming threat would be if a company declared copyright infringement to get rid of an embarrassing earlier version of a ToS from your website.

Hmmm, interesting. I think you can check if a function is native or not by casting the function to a string, and I don't think there are any native functions the attacker would stand to gain anything by swapping.

I am still pretty confused as to why a company so big as Microsoft keeps shipping a browser that scores a weak forth place in terms of these things. It also doesn't boost my confidence that they aren't releasing the newer Internet Explorer

For a lot of people who don't live in the profitable western parts of the world, paying for access is often not an option, because the company that owns the rights doesn't bother releasing their content in such places. A lot of companies ev

If I have 200 units of fish, and the next day I have 50% less, then I would indeed have 100 units of fish. Maybe he meant the opposite, "50% more" versus "double"? If I had 50% more the next day, I would have 300 units of fish, not 400.
