That’s all true, but unless you assume technology peaks, the aliens would have passed those points and counter acted all of that a 1000 years earlier. Maybe they have million mile wide EMPs that destroy all our electronics. It’s very hard

Is that true? (Honest question) Whatever the “thing” was that exploded at the big bang (which I read once was the size of a grapefruit for what it’s worth) - could there not have been other similar “things”? And what about where that “thi

What’s a one-off address? It somehow got coins attached to it, and they came from somewhere, which is shown on the ledger. And whoever receives the coins will eventually want to spend them, which will also be shown in the ledger.

The lack of motivation for your dreams is a pretty big red flag for depression. See a therapist and/or doctor. Common anti-depressant meds really help, though you may need to try a few to find the one that works for you. Good luck! :

My friends in Switzerland 30 years ago thought corn was only for animals. It took some convincing for them to try American-style corn on the cob (which is delicious!)

I’ve wondered if Trump drove the party there or merely exposed and harnessed what was already going on. Either way, as a conservative, I find there is nobody representing me any more.

I think he’s pointing out that cultural norms are getting out of control, and sometimes absurd. Not enough critical thinking is taking place. In it’s place is knee-jerk outrage.

That seems pretty hard to believe to me. I suspect they didn’t take into account all the efficiency gains technology has enabled in that time period. Otherwise let’s just increase minimum wage by 100% if it will only raise prices by 3.6%.

I agree - this is going to make finding the truth so much harder once it’s weaponized as it surely will be. How can representative democracy flourish when you can no longer tell who you want to represent you?
