You should be glad your urls are so intuitive that they are easily hackable. Keep it that way and don't change them (breaking stuff is bad). Nobody really ever follows links with REST anyway. That idea is nice in theory but it's just too mu

It does NOT keep history accurate. You have absolutely no guarantee that all rebased commits work as intended or can even be built. The only thing that can be rebased safely is a single commit, for the rest you should learn to live with a m

I'm not sure the ISS has enough delta-v to get back down quickly. Lowering the orbit enough so that it will fall down in a few weeks is probably possible.

How much does maintaining this infrastructure cost? I'd guess that spending a bit more on (virtual) hardware would have been a much cheaper solution. Only when the service proves to be popular and you want to save money you should invest in

Do you have any idea in what amounts jellyfish usually appear? Probably the weather changed and they moved off, or died due to changing seasons etc.

I'd think that with the extra money you're paying they could offer you more legroom. I'd have no trouble with paying more if I'm taking up more weight and space.

It's the future! I think that it would be great for agility, and perhaps to mimic insects so the army can use them covertly.

Exceptionally handsome if you like Windows 8 perhaps. I don't like the big rectangles with bright colors. A good dashboard should be almost invisible until something important happens.

The idea is nice, the "pathfinding" is broken enough for the game to be unplayable. Seriously, they just go directly towards their goal and get stuck everywhere.

Good PR, but why would anyone want to get part of their salary paid in bitcoins? You get the disadvantages of both.

Certainly interesting. It looks like a 1 year medium is a good bet if you're unsure how long you'll need the instance but it's probably more than 6 months.

The idea is not that weird. Lots of applications run from RAM most of the time, needing long cache warmups before performing well. If you keep your entire storage in RAM this isn't necessary, and you can do away with the caching layer.

This seems like an excellent solution. edit: I've just noticed that this is something someone with no experience in crypto would say. Sometimes things actually get worse with randomization, for example when there is a flaw that will always

Home-grown dashboard. Works fine for now. It was quite a lot of work to build it but the code turned out nice and concise and I learned a lot in the process.

Would anyone actually do that? I run stuff on AWS using their excellent Java SDK and I'm quite happy about the flexibility that brings me.

Exactly. I detest PHP, but I've used it to quickly build a sign-up website for an event. If you pair PHP with an interface library like Bootstrap and an ORM like Paris/Idiorm you can have something up and running cheaply and quickly. Is it

The creativity comes in when you need to decide on the most efficient way to do something. And you are always creating something from scratch, otherwise you could just reuse the existing solution.
