It's ok. I appreciate your position and your reply, as well as your desire to defend good things. I think it's important to note here that WordPress is a project, not a business or a company. I don't think Google is trying to

They are not acquiring the company that maintains the open source CMS known as WordPress, which is also estimated to power 24% of websites on the Internet. They are developing free, probably open source, plugins and themes for WordPress. Al

What is insecure about WordPress? If you minimize your reliance on plugins, enable automatic updates, and harden your installation, it's pretty secure. At least I haven't had issues. Anything can be insecure if it's misconfig

I think that the rebrand better expresses the product mission.

The proposition is that free, instant transfers are so awesome that people will voluntarily run nodes. I like Raiblocks. It really functions the way that people want Bitcoin to function (free, instant, complete [no dust] transfers).

You are very interested in defining things. This is a case where imagination is needed.

Slippery slope: I can trust the court if I don't have to trust the data. I can't trust the court if I have to subjectively prove my arguments.

It's hard to imagine a solution to these problems because we are so far away from highly functional examples of this tech in action in the "real" world. That said, engineers live to solve problems in better, smarter ways. I p

Finally! He can melt all the ice-cream and destroy his customer. No, Bob's misconduct would potentially be provable in court based on the trustless data ledgers in the blockchain. Really, this example just shows one way how developers

All of the censors vote on if they have been tampered with. They will leave a record of their votes on the blockchain as Bob tampers with them in real time.

Another thing that you can do is use Apache virtual hosts and send all traffic that connects to the IP to an empty page.

Yes, the comment is premised on the future representation of assets in the blockchain. If the tickets were on the blockchain, they could be exchanged in the way that you describe.

We could literally set up a company that does this for rich people right now and charge them a percentage of their estate. Some people are so untrusting that they would pay a percentage of the estate for such a service. Not to mention the t

Everytime you park the crypto in fiat, you face tax burderns. The Etherium Network imposes no such burdens.

Rich people just don't know that Ethereum does this, that it's built into it. Everyone (Main Street) just thinks it's a crypto currency right now. What about TRUSTLESS gambling? Hmm... Maybe there'd be a market for that?

Do you really believe that there's not going to be a market for TRUSTLESS wills? For tax-free, trustless estate transfers?

I must admit I only read the headline, but I'm sure the organizations are making due with the thin, tight-margins off black market cocaine, heroine, and methamphetamine sales.

No matter where the price points jump, in the next ten years a bunch of stuff is going to be running on Ethereum. Go long. Bet on the tech, not the hype.
