Ironically I’ve heard this same argument used to justify a negative reaction to everything from gay people, to women in a niqab. Maybe the issue is that having a “valid feeling” is like having an asshole? Yes, it’s real, yes we all have the

Buy them to be honest, then pirate a useable format from audiobookbay, they have everything... which strongly implies that the DRM is shock horror useless. The author gets paid because you bought it, and you get to use it as you see fit..

Electronic banking is defrauded on a regular basis, including at the endpoint using jackpot schemes and more. It’s acceptable for banking given the amounts stolen are ultimately trivial, but not for voting.

A cyclist can cause a swerve and crash, or just be the one killed. You can argue in the latter case that the cyclist is the only one hurt, but fault aside, most people will be devestated if they kill someone else.

I don't know anything about that, but if it’s not coordinated behavior then why would it run afoul of a detector? Maybe Muskies are just way more easily angered than everyone else, so their actions coordinate, but they’re doing it spon

As far as I can tell there are just two moderators, and this is a big website. Is it possible that they’re just focusing on what gets the most flags and not scouring every post? Maybe the pro-Tesla people flag articles critical of the brand

Your freedom to not get vaccinated is impinging on my freedom not to die from some totally avoidable pathogen. When freedoms are incompatible someone’s freedom has to be curtailed. I vote for the irrational and dangerous freedom to be curta

Those unfortunate children would be robbed or the valuable skill set based on learning how to learn, how to seek knowledge when it’s not just a Google search away. Learning facts may seem useless, but again, it teaches you how to learn, h

It is Magic, and a single container will last for so many rounds of popcorn you wouldn’t believe it. I found as a trick you add the falvacol to the popcorn and oil before popping, not after for the best results. Bonus? House smells like goo

From development to widespread acceptance QM didn’t take very long, because of course it’s possible to test to a high degree of accuracy. Flat Earth was debunked many centuries (millennia really) ago, but still persists. I’m not sure how mu

Again with the LIDAR argument... Humans drive using only eyes (computer vision) and having a sense of location (localization/3D maps). As has been discussed in some depth here before you commented, computer vision hooked up to some M
