Why does such a tool need an API and an external connection? I use `arbtt`, which is local-only.

NixOS and Kagi user here. Hacker News often is the most reliable search result there is. Gists aren’t (they become easily deleted, unlike HN comments).

Good point; it isn’t! What’s illegal is for people to discriminate based on names and photos, but the platform itself is fine.

It really is. I don’t know what kind of electric vehicles you have been using, but the Renault Zoe, Peugeot E-308, and Hyundai IONIQ I’ve been using before Teslas are a PAIN to use and recharge (especially the Peugeot). Tesla still (unfortu

The article highlights the difference between what Snowball does compared to the other birds you mentioned. Snowball has been observed dancing for the sake of it, not expecting mating or food.

What the author should have done, as soon as they saw the physician had not yet looked at the results, is to immediately go to a pharmacy and show them the results. I’m glad AI has been useful this time, but pharmacists are experts too (and

AFAIK, Typst doesn’t handle multilanguage documents well, and hyphenation in particular. I had to go back to XeTeX because of this.

Do you have any feedback regarding lag? I like the potential of Shelly products, but every single light I bought from them has a 2-second lag, as the devices seem to want to light up only AFTER being connected to the WiFi.
