Yes, but also a ton of unlicensed music (most of which came by way of remixes/DJ mixes), which they can't license it to soundtrack cos. Spotify owns one (major investor, created by an employee) called Soundtrack Your Brand. Pand

Drip was acquired by Kickstarter, maybe 2 years ago.

Mentioned this under another comment: Drip was a startup that was acquired from Kickstarter a year or two ago. So they didn't choose the name (and didn't choose to rebrand).

Same here, and added the FB Purity extension on top of it. It's glorious to visit FB today and see the same 3 posts I saw yesterday (I follow a few media co's). It's slowly gotten me out of the habit of randomly checking in t

And sitting down in a quiet, non-stimulated environment typically produces all sorts of emotions, does it not?

I think OP is correct, it just wasn't stated as well as it could've been. Meditation (at least some practice forms) is an act of forcing boredom upon yourself AND exploring how your mind's default settings react in that envir

Slight caveat here: for those with sacroiliitis or SI joint issues, "sitting down is bad for you" is NOT necessarily the answer. In many cases standing is worse for you than sitting. Don't prescribe to generalities, of course

I can tell you what it was like to quit my job and focus on a very-early-holy-shit-what-are-we-doing-startup. Was at a marketing agency for 10 years when I left to pursue my first co-founded startup. Made the decision after we got a little

I just re-learned skateboarding. I spent a lot of time skating in my late teens (37 now), and was decent at it. I noticed three things throughout the learning process this time around. First, there is so much more information available toda

Possibly a combination of two things. I'd like to teach meditation to children and young adults. I'd also like to pursue stand-up comedy and other comedic efforts.

The opening paragraph is just an unadulterated train wreck. Forbes continues its path down being nothing more than a mouthpiece for PR folks. "WordPress is the most popular CMS in the world and is used by nearly 75 million websites. Ac

Many generations of my wife's family (Makawao) worked at the mills. Our cousin is out of a job after 26 years there. It happens. From what I hear, they are doing an excellent job with the former employees, like paying for school.

I haven't intentionally ingested the "news" in any considerable manner in at least 10 years, probably more. That's by design; I just don't place a premium on it. Time, energy, and attention are all limited resources

I absolutely, 100% do not want to extend my life. And for the record, I am quite pleased with my life. I do not fear death, I do not worry about it, it does not concern me. Therefore I do not feel the need to combat it in any way. The good
