All I hear is: >Nothing has changed, except that each existing layer will have pre-baked compromises to external parties. But... in what way? 1. Are we just cataloging the sharing agreements some specific vendors have already arranged? 2

If they ever successfully clone dinosaurs, I'd love to be fed to a TRex. That'd make a great tombstone photo for the pedia.

I don't know if it's kosher to respond to one's own comment, but I didn't see an option to edit. So I'll just say this: I choose that phrasing for a reason. Because I know that some people choose beliefs based on ho

You're perspective is flawed. You can't assume everyone is equally able to speak for themselves. One might not speak ill of a tyrant one has no prospects of escaping.

There is no genuine debate to be had. No one who has the ability to not be autistic, would choose to be. This is yet another example of how our toxic modern culture turns everything into an "identity". Some people are less healthy

I miss the Obama space administration. Instead of shooting for platinum mountains, we're planning to spend 20$ billion to repeat a great fucking Kennedy did decades ago. Except we're in denial about the cost, so we're not act

Honestly, they could have just used a whitelist instead of a blacklist. One could easily fuck usage of a library. Common sense is required. Attempting to ban "http" as a method of ensuring "https", is obviously less idea

The only sentence in the entire article that is actually about STEVE, doesn't really explain how it's different from a regular aurora.

If I asked for a paper and they looked at me askance, I'd wonder why I emailed them instead of just asking - since we're in viewing range obviously.

He missed a trick to christen "Big Pod". Most music is garbage anyways. More importantly, pods are not about "sound". They're about "social". Podcasts are rent-a-friends.

We need more wolves and less suburbs. Or at least more hunters. Deer are out of control. They're being chased out out every development around here. In the midlights, they commute to all the business parks. I guess for the lawns around

The social sciences need to learn that some of the simplest words have the largest meaning. If your study is about one of those, you'd better be writing the General Relativity of your field. This study is absolutely not about creativit
