Shaping is not a problem at all. The problem is how you decide that shaping. If you're client of a network and you pay more for more priority inside that network they can do that, but as soon as the packet leaves it, it should have the

For loops are the single biggest reason we still use Coffee Script. They're the most efficient and most compatible of the alternatives. The syntax of the loops is very clean and they all compile to simple "for( ; ; )" or &quo

Definitely. One big pain point when learning English is phonetics, specifically the 12-15 vowels, and how frequently I fail predicting how a word is pronounced from the spelling. One has to be prepared to spend a lot of time learning _two_

Only some bookmarklets that go to a data URL on top level are affected. They should be easy to modify to open them inside an iframe or to replace the existing document instead.

I'm giving this a try, using Seafile for synchronization with encryption instead of the app's own system. As an extra, I can self host it and I can revert any changes if I need to.

It seems almost all the time node.js runs hello world is spent loading its own modules. You should try something like this: // watch.js var file = process.argv[2] console.log('press enter to run '+file)

How fast is a hello world in node.js to you? I forgot to mention my formerly favorite language: Python. It's _much_ faster than Node.js in startup and relatively basic things. Node wins on almost everything I make, though. $ time
