It's bulletproof if you don't use string concatenation in your prepared statements. EDIT: No this doesn't limit you to 'simple queries'! How do you figure that? There are only a VERY small subset of problems you can't solve like this. So sm

If you use type-safe SQL parameters everywhere and no string concatenation you'll be fine. http://taylorza.blogspot.com/2009/04/sql-injection-are-param...

You still need to do that with XBox? Does that mean you can't run more than one XBox at home from one IP address?

The Reps need the money. More money means more ad campaigns and better chance to stay in power. The system is to blame I think. Not enough oversight or regulation?

I'm no expert on the topic but I guess the real nuts and bolts will be abstracted away from the developers. One example is a new LIKE implementation in your SQL database that uses a quantum algorithm for approximate search hits (from a DWav

I'll have you know that Windows is every bit as easy to experiment and learn on. Microsoft go out of their way to make developer and sysadmin's jobs as easy as possible. New versions of the .net framework can be installed without restarting

You don't ask journalists to change their articles to make the subject look good. That's just NOT ok, even without the explicit threat.

More people die installing solar roof panels than in nuclear power accidents. Do you really think the USA will stop building coal and natural gas power plants any time soon?

Those are great they just don't generate a lot of power though. The biggest one so far peaks at 60MW while your standard nuclear or fossil power plant generates 1000MW consistently. You'd need at least 20 of these to replace just one coal p

Those are not comparable power sources. They cannot substitute for fossil or nuclear plants, because they are way too expensive and do not provide 24/7 power without even more expensive batteries.

I know this is kinda off-topic but could someone explain why the wobble rate and the spin rate of the plate would have a 2 to 1 ratio? Is this somehow related to the spin numbers of elementary particles?
