No, Ireland is not swimming in money. All they did is they artificially raised their GDP per capita to ridiculous number of $120k, but the tax rate on all that revenue is like 0.001%, so average Irishman is no better off from it.

But the UBI works completely different at small and large scales. When you test it at small scale it seems to be working exactly as expected. But when you try to introduce it globally (I mean, for the whole country), then it suddenly starts

So it seems that Buffet, ironically, does not follow his own advice of simply buying an ETF and holding it. Also, I know some "celebrity traders" in Poland who advertise their IKE (think of it like a Polish version of Roth IRA acc

No, this money wasn't leaving the country. Suppose some item from China costs $100. Now EU will add, say, $15 tax to it, for the total price of $115. So, $100 is going to China, as previously, and $15 tax paid by EU citizens is redis

Or the “green alternatives” will become more expensive, because why the hell not? If your competitors just raised prices it makes it easier for you to do the same, without consequences.

So they will be taking money from citizens in form of taxes so they can give it back to those same citizens? Seems like a lot of time-wasting bureaucracy.

Ok, so it is a clear sign that CD Projekt is going under. You cannot have a labor union and still be a successful company. Unions are cancer. More to the point: IT job market in Poland is based on freelance (B2B) contracts. The fact that CD

Why should they do that? They created the technology and they have every right to make money from it. It is not NVIDIA's fault that their competitors offerings are lame, and it's not their duty to give them a helping hand. EDIT: A

The common practice is that you butcher bulls at young age, but you keep cows for milk - you actually make much more money on milk than on meat. With chickens it's even worse: males are killed immediately after hatching, because their
