I've experienced this. I worked for a company that sold software to municipal governments. All that mattered was the Mayor/Town Manager/City Councils opinion. If the reports looked good and the price was right, they were goin

If you're doing it because of a hard cap on the withdrawal amount it's not structuring. You have to be doing it with the specific intent to avoid required reporting.

The focus on race seems to be mostly coming from commenters here. The definition of digital discrimination in the rule reads "Policies or practices, not justified by genuine issues of technical or economic feasibility, that (1) differe

Another commentator touched on how those stats can be misleading, so I want to stress that it is often touted as the only relevant metric. You never see it presented in context of total number of indictments, overturns on appeal, break down

I can't tell if this is a joke, but in case it's in earnest the issue here is the prisoners are typically forced to work at well below market rates. Then usually much of it is withheld on top of that. It also does little to reinte

I doubt you can get concrete data on point one, but it is a commonly repeated trope. At best many people are too okay treating prison abuse as a joke. For the second point, many US Prosecutors are elected. They run on a "tough on crime
