What they did this week sealed their fate. Section 230 was supposed to make social networks public squares but that line is obviously being ignore especially by some people because they think censoring things they think are wrong is moral.

Section 203 made them a public square because unlike the private property who would be liable for whats done on that land twitter gets a pass. And its looking more and more like they shouldn't. And if that happens twitter wont exist.

Of course it should. Not only practically because twitter shouldn't be monitoring the government that polices it, but also cause if that government lets say strips twitter protections it would be dumb of twitter to have done.

What you talking about thats been a thing since before the internet was a thing is called the October surpise. Its allowed. It's legal. Youre not allowed to suppress your political opponent in the last moment cause that could escalate

Except for the fact that section 230 argues they shouldnt be censoring anything. So they should be liable to be sued for doing things like this like any other publication.

How can you say its false. The FBI took it seriously. If we said the same about wikileaks or trump taxes we'd all flip out. Twitter shouldn't be the people who get to say whats false or not.

Yeh but what about wikileaks, trumps taxes, and so many other story. But even if it was policy the fact they banned the press secretary of the united states should give everyone pause.

The fact that they censor everyone including the press secretary so quickly is scary. Like the voice of the president got twitter ban like a commoner with the snap of a finger.

Why would anyone use that internet. Fair doesn't mean optimal. It would be fair if anyone who published a social media site would get an equal share of the traffic. Isn't optimal though

Those innovations have 0 to do with labor of the workers. The cost of the investment in the innovation is where the wage went. How does it make sense to pay for that twice. The worker sans the innovation is no more productive.

Not to mention the minimum wage was randomly picked by a govt worker. Who says the wage picked at any given time would be the best minimum wage and would have negative consequence like other minimum wage increases.

Why would pay keep up with productivity gains when the productivity of the labor purchased by a wage hasnt kept up with productivity gains. Businesses run on actual formulas. So if a mcdonald resturant doesn't make the the 100x% growt

Because in tech its easy to just move jobs or negotiate on your own. Unions would just have government in you businesses, and make it harder for workers. Not to mention programmers are cheap and wont pay the union fees. I know I wouldn'

Because how do these kid even get skills if the required amount to pay them prices them out of the market. You'd probably hire a drop out if you could pay much less in wages, but I see a lot of people avoiding that apprenticeship path.

This seems to me that this is a result of the training young people get being more and more divergent from the actual work the economy needs because of governmental gerrymandering. People made it impossible to apprentice at lower wages for

Thats not how any of this works. The problem with a market is you have a rate that if something is below it its not profitable for people to live in a place. Idk why people blame the building owners. And people who do this are always people

No this doesn't tell the full picture because the gap is the same for company like germany where the GDP per capita in 2008 was 45k and now is 48k. In 2008 the US was 46k and is now 63k. The rate that these economies are diverging is t
