> how does the strategy pattern differ from just passing a function pointer? It's just a verbose way to perform the same abstraction. Use it only if function pointers are unavailable or considered unsafe in your programming language.

To sum up: - Some use two spaces because they are used to it. They are wrong, stupid and annoying. - Author use two spaces because he's used to it. Why can't you see that he is correct? To give an actual argument related to value, I think

An often overlooked option is to look for a great programmer who knows any other language well and is willing to learn your shop's pet language. Hire him, provide some learning room, and he'll be up to Level Competent in no time compared

Zaxxon would be an excellent candidate for a voxel re-make, as it had 3d gameplay.

"Innovation, exploration and discovery" were all rampant in the 80-es, especially on European C64 games. Some examples of music that uses the unique noises of the SID chip instead of only imitating existing instruments: - Arkanoid (Martin

This very complex "simple" explanation of Git is funny because Git is rumored to have a steep learning curve, and the Git documentation is very heavy on theory and models. It is also a bit funny because a lot of educated readers will try to

It is just a toy implementation. If we're going to worry about practicals, then it's not recommended to use your own general purpose sorting implementations at all . For general purpose sorting, the standard library "always" has the best
