Well, one might have reached the same conclusion about the millions upon millions of shitty cell phones that were sold right up through 2005. Cell phones with abysmal UIs, retarded ergnomics, and no working sync software. Sales figures don

Yes, and after you cobble this asinine frankendevice together, you have something with no proper I/O. Crippled Bluetooth. No user-accessible file system. No way for third-party apps to sync data with companion apps on the computer (witho

Which is what the Mac once claimed to be, but Apple relies on unmarked, multi-fingered "gestures" and two-handed hotkeys. Yeah, it's a clinic of hypocrisy from the company that claimed two-button mice were "too complicated." Then it comes

Boredom is an adequate reason, regardless of what self-proclaimed experts say. Or, you can just wither away in your cube farm for the rest of your life.

Yeah, I like taking this advice from a company that had no business model, no revenue, and nothing to do with "changing the world."

Thanks for the chat-box info. This is more bad (Easter-egg) UI: There's no visible control next to "chat" (or any of the other labels) until you've already rolled the cursor over it. Why would the user roll the cursor over there, if there

Why would I move the cursor to an area in which there are no visible controls? Thanks for your response, but this is shitty UI. Is the user supposed to sweep the entire screen, pixel by pixel, looking for Easter eggs?

Nope. The asinine hiding of most of your mail folders makes it way slower to navigate. And there's no indication that they exist. No control with which to reveal them. This regression in UI standards that evolved and stayed in place for

OK. I'll call them inept and pan their design based on months of USE. As far as I'm concerned, there's only one example needed to prove the failure of this new design: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6034/6310566055_4a5f5d4a53_b.j...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a not-too-bloated template engine? I'm going to be building a small-business Web site to display products from a MySQL database and possibly offer shopping-cart functionality. Thanks!

Task 1: Tell us what it is. Task 2: Tell us why it's better than Redis. Meanwhile, at least they spell "key/value" correctly (it's not "key-value").

You can scroll the entire screen up by exactly the amount needed to prevent the keyboard from obscuring the field. It doesn't even need to be on a scrollview. You'd think the framework would do that (or at least offer that), but nope.

You still don't say how you're LOSING pixels. If you had your way (a widescreen tablet) they'd simply chop off the extra pixels to change the aspect ratio. You gain NOTHING. You also fail to say why putting controls, captions, and chapter
