My experience of this is a bit thin… but I can share what I know. Printing requires that a resist is applied onto a plate, onto which the ink is applied. The function of the resist is to accept or reject the ink. This plate is then pressed

Correct. Cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) is in fact a derivative of the painter’s color space red, yellow, blue (RYB). But the article is right in that printing technologies heralded a dam burst of classic illustrators: the so called

I have a classic British accent. When I started teaching in foreign universities, I found that in meetings people would stop and listen to what I was saying… even defer to me. In the UK, I was just another Brit, is a sea of Brits, and thusl

I use those methods as well, but nothing seems to beat printing. One thing I like is the ability to write notes directly on the paper using a pen. I have a Wacom Cintiq, so I could conceivably do the same tHing digitaly, but it isn’t the sa

For me, a printer is vital when proofing checking important documents. Documents may read fine on the screen, but the moment you print them out all those nastily little errors become more apparent.

Overall, those who cheat are lazy by nature, and therefore easy to catch. I teach art and design. Now is grading season and it is maddeningly easy to catch students who plagiarize. Like shooting fish in a barrel. The contract cheating is an

Maybe. But in teaching, the bulk of users expect Facebook-normal behavior. Dropping a file in a FB chat places it into the chat box but does not upload. Placing it into a Teams chat box will upload the file and give the impression that the

Love Blender, but in my experience, the biggest advantage that 3DS Max has over Blender is its ability to handle massive scenes. In VFX, especially those involving explosions, dust, crowds and suchlike, this can be a deal breaker.
