Did you read the thing? You have the greatest gender balance in comp sci in the least egalitarian societies. There's a body of scientific literature you could consult if you wanted the diversity you claim to want.

Disagree that people are 'pretty ok' with the two options. Ubuntu phone was a glimmer of hope for me, a very faint glimmer, but it was something. I remember people saying the compact disc was dead. History makes fools of many.

I think the OPM data breach recently put about 10 million fingerprints and a ton of associated personally identifying information into the hands of people who have clear motivation to hack the cell phones of many of the people impacted.

One question would be whether or not to match the files on subject/grade/teacher, or just the teacher. You use subject/grade/teacher level, but you get a different answer if you use aggregated teacher level.
