To me it happened the other way around. The original game from Steam won't run on Linux but if I change the .exe for one that is cracked, it works. I've been keeping that .exe for years.

I've been using it since Youtube Vanced died and it's working perfectly and I'll keep using it until it dies too.

On Android you have NewPipe for video and ViMusic/Blackhole for audio only. You have to install the .apk manually or from f-droid, but they work like a charm.

Happened to me. It was at night, listening to a podcast while I was doing some chores. An ad for a horror movie popped up while I was walking through the corridor with the lights off. You can imagine the heart attack... I solved it by manua

There are dumb shorts in Youtube with tens or even hundred millions of views. I think it is safe to say they keep people engaged somehow.

It's like the people who can see the calendar in their heads. You ask them about an exact date from 1969 and they'll say, oh yeah, it was Monday. Or people who don't have an internal dialogue. This is probably the most weird

Big for Postman. Maybe it's a Postman on Mac thing, I've never used it on any other platform.

I only wish Postman didn't freeze when adding a big JSON to a request. If you add it through their interface it freezes for a while in the best case scenario or freezes until you kill it. Postman on my Mac is now broken because a big J

I want to mention Tuxedo Computers and Slimbook which are great. After trying a Slimbook I don't think I'll buy another brand unless a company like this one pops up. Of course Tuxedo is an equally good alternative but Slimbook HQ

What do you mean? EU bank transfers are free but they take a day but you also have the option to make it instantly, sometimes paying a small fee like 1€ or so. I have never had to pay, though.

I'm not against children taking responsibilities, helping and working a little bit here and there to earn themselves some money and develop themselves in many ways, but just throwing them into the labour market is going back in time a

I'm sure this won't fuel any conspiracy theory. Jokes aside, the last time I saw good content on VICE it was probably during the Russian invasion of Crimea. No wonder they went bankrupt.

RSS in your email client is a bad idea IMO. I used thunderbird like that a lot but everytime I needed to read or send an email for something productive I'd see that there's a new post somewhere and I'd check it.

That's why I can't play almost any game, because I'll grind everything, even useless achievements. At least I have idle games and I'm also working on one which will probably end up in nothing.

Almost nobody cares about COVID anymore, only people with health issues. Public transportation, malls, festivals, concerts, etc, are always packed. Returning to office won't make a difference.

Why would I buy this instead of a Tuxedo or Slimbook? I don't mind paying more for a laptop from an independent company with linux support, but the price is excessive and I don't even know if what I'm buying is actually good.
