Seconded. I was a fairly early adopter of Windows 10, and the updates have never been an issue for me. I changed the update setting to 'notify to schedule restarts' and it's always prompted me to schedule it myself, rather

Would you be able to link this? I'm interested in reading about it. A quick google for 'dwarf planting a bed in a farm plot bug fortress' turns up nothing relevant at a glance.

The notion of removing the headphone jack from flagship phones is infuriating and ludicrous to me.. When I first read about it I couldn't help but think 'haha, nice joke!' There are so many downsides to removing the jack, spe

My heart was in my mouth reading this; what a moment to have been alive. I can't begin to fathom the emotions for all involved. It must have been terror mixed with elation, doubt, fear, hope and wonder. Any small mistake from the gr

Run pfSense on it as your router, using VLANs to make use of the single NIC on it. I've done this myself, and it was a great learning tool. You get the benefit of having a built-in UPS too. Note that you'll need a switch capable

Interesting insight into what addiction is really like. That mentality of 'I could relapse tomorrow' even after four years is very telling. Good on the guy for four years clean. He obviously wants it, and he's got the willpow

Surely a flat file would fix that though? If it's just ABS it should file quite easily. The tool is far from useless.

I had the tearing issue with my original. I upgraded to a pebble steel rather than replace it (international shipping isn't worth it), and the quality has been second to none. A year and a half on, the leather band is slightly scuffe

I would have said the opposite - that the healthcare industry is known for its lack of transparency, with big pharma being notorious for their obfuscation.
